My Roomba will charge and light will turn green but as soon as I press the button to clean, it will start and move away from its docking station about 8-10 inches & right away will start flashing orange light and saying, “please charge Roomba’’ and will start moving back to it’s charging dock. I will like to know whats wrong with my machine. Does it need to have its battery changed or something else is wrong.

The battery probably does need to be changed, since the one currently in cannot hold a charge.

Pretty sure you can find a battery on Amazon or the like (Avoid eBay)
