Identifying components on logic board
Need help identifying component on logic board I accidentally broke it off.
15” MacBook Pro Retina Late 2013 (A1398), 2.6 GHz i7 with 16 GB
The broken component is a capacitor C9718 and here its specs:
这个答案有帮助吗?
I'm ignorant of what these specs mean. Thanks Dan.
Ah! I guess its time to visit someone with micro-soldering skills and access to the part. If you can find a junker logic board you could try doing that.
Often electronic supply houses have a minimum order so you end up getting what they offer as the smallest quantity they stock in a spool or cane.
Here's one source Mouser and heres the line card for the cap: Surface Mount Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors
I actually found the capacitor on the floor. Can you just re-solder? Or do you need new part? How much should it cost for re-solder? MacBook boots fine. Whats the risk of not fixing?
I didn't trace out what its for, its marked as critical on the schematic so I would put it back in.
Take a few pics showing the top, bottom and ends to see its condition and post them here 在已经存在的问题里加入图片.
Do you have access to a soldering iron, electronics solder & flux?
I got this response from Oldturkey:
"Looks like your board is a 820-3787 and that would make the part reference designator C7718 which is a 2.2uF 10% 100V capacitor in a 1210-1 package"
Seems the capacitor he listed is different but specs are the same? Thoughts?
Posting pics above shortly...
No access to iron, electronics solder, flux... Oldturkey says it should be around $20 for someone to do it for me.... True?
