HDMI not appearing in the settings menu

Hi I have a 2017 Panasonic th49es500z smart tv. I’m trying to connect a sc-pt865 DVD home theatre sound system to it. Every thing works except the tv audio won’t. When I go into the settings the hdmi adjust doesn’t appear. Can you help ?.
