Hi,
Do you get good audio when connecting a set of headphones to the radio?
Does this happen on AM only, FM only, SW only etc or on all the wavebands available on the radio?

First we offer help to people to fix their own equipment or at least understand whats involved in repairing it.
Sadly we don’t have a guide for your radio to help you.
What I can tell you, a common issue with the Sony shortwave radio’s are the tantalum capacitors often need replacing. I have a ICF-SW7600 my self which needed a few replaced.
