How is the signal source connected to the TV, from an antenna into the co-ax input or from some sort of "box" using a HDMI connection?
If it is from a "box" what is the make and model number of the box?
If it is from a "box" have you tried using a different HDMI input on the TV, a different HDMI cable or even a different type of input connection e.g. a component video connection between the "box" and the TV to see if this resolves the problem?
