Why won't the computer power on?
When I press the power button the computer makes a noise (I think it is coming from the CRT). No other signs of life. I tried using a external monitor with no success.

3.6 volt 1/2 AA PRAM battery.
You can see it on step#13 of this guide. Look for the purple and black small battery:

Can't I hold down the command to reset the pram battery?
Will any AA battery work as well?
NO! use 3.6 volt 1/2 AA PRAM battery
Does not work
