Single ring telephone and then disconnect

This is an old corded Uniden. My outgoing calls and dial tone is great. But when soneone calls me, it only ring once. I have a test handset so I know my line is good. I want to repair my telephone set.

Hi @yannix ,

Presumably with your test phone connected to the line, it continues to ring until you answer it.

Does the ringtone continue in the calling phone when the ring has stopped after one burst in the Uniden phone or does it also stop? (try calling from a mobile phone so that you can hear both phones)

How old is old?

Does the Uniden phone have an electronic "ringer" or bells? ;-)

What is the model number of the phone?
