Cannot Connect Through App Process
I have had 2 units in my house for about 3 months. I needed to remove them and have some issues with connection when I tried to place them back into place. They refused to connect. So they were reset and then I went through the process to add them through the app once more. Here is what I am doing and here is what happens.
Step 1-3 - Install
- I install the base plate
- I plug in the unit and secure to plate by twisting.
- The light comes on the unit with a green color, tells you to open the app and then begins flashing green.
Step 4 - Select Options
- In this step I am selecting what to call the unit, what room it is in etc.
Step 5 - Install
- I click next and then phone then disconnected from the wifi because it shares the wifi with it (asks permission and I selected “ok”).
- Screen loaded for a while

Step 6 - Failure
- At this point I get this error

- The flashing blue light stops and turns to a whitish solid color.
- I tried everything under the sun but the old units will not connect!
I have since been sent new units from Fire Alert but these are doing the same thing. Can anyone help me with this?
