The replacement screen I ordered didn’t come with a speaker grill. The ifixit store sells a mesh grill for the regular pixel, but not the XL version. Would it still work for the XL though?

No, I’m pretty sure that the speaker grill is different due to the Pixel XL being bigger than the Pixel.
