Is my motherboard damaged?

I have 2x Go Pro 4. The first one suddenly died on me and so I bought another one. The second one I believe got water damaged. I don't know how water got in cause my housing looked to be water tight. Regardless, I tried swapping parts seeing if it was broken and nothing worked. I just want to know in the pictures I uploaded where I circled, is that a damaged component?

Update (11/27/2018)

I was trying to see if I could get various pictures of motherboards, but that aren't detailed enough for me to see. On Google.

In my older GP. This is component I circled is here. But in my newer one it's lol.. like gone completely.

I have no understanding why my old one had that part I originally circled on my first post got damaged.

But yeah I think it's toast my gp

yes that looks a bit damaged. replacing that component should help

here’s what the component looks like on a good motherboard, your component has a chunk out of it and/or looks water damaged

Iunno if it's feasible to replace that. Lol. I'm thinking just replace the mother board. The crazy thing that if making me confused is that both of them, the GP, look to have damage at that chip but the older one to my knowledge never got water damaged.

So I was hoping to compare pictures of mother boards.
