Dropped my laptop several times, broke a bunch of “nuts” , LH hinge separated from chassis, replaced the bottom case (chassis) and when I put it back together - no display. I think I crushed the LCD cable on the hinge as I don’t remember the routing and just laid it on top. Can someone PLEASE tell me the proper routing - over, under, around? Note: my 17” hinge is NOT the same as a 15”. The 15” looks to have a slot for the cable to sit in, not mine. Thanks!

Not sure if this is a help to you or not.
Here’s a image taken from p.72 of the service manual for your laptop. It seems to show the LCD cable going under (or behind depending on your point of view) the hinge.

I think it should go under also, but did not see a path in and out. I'll look more at your picture and look again at my hinge area.
