Why won’t my max 60 go back to floors from upholstery . Hand tool works great, how do I make it go back to floors

Upholstery hose works can’t switch back to floors won’t spray or suck, only the upholstery hose works

sounds like there's a dirt or a something thick enough to block the suction pipe or the spray hose
can you try turning the entire vacuum upside down and shake . whatever’s blocking might slip down to the dirt storage
