My battery is stuck inside the camera

I don't know how but the battery to my nikon p500 is stuck. I've tried everything even went to a camera technician to get help but he couldn't fix it either. My only hope is to sent it in for reparation but not sure if the warranty will cover that... And if I have to pay it will probably be more efficient to buy a new camera...

Thoughts?
