I have a Canon A1300 Powershot.
Its a great camera and takes amazing pics, but unfortunately there is a fault.
The camera door closes easily enough, but when its closed i can still see a gap, so which means I still can see a bit of the batteries.
What shall I do?

As long as the door is secured and the batteries are able to power the camera you should be OK.
If touching the door causes the camera to turn off you’ll need to get a new door and baseplate to fix this.
What likely did you in is leaving the batteries in and the camera getting a bit warm from the sun so the plastic melted a bit. So as the batteries are under tension you plastic deformed from the heat.
