I recently replaced the LCD and the digitizer in my 3G. After replacing I got a blank white screen. I've looked thru all the Q&A and I've tried to do some of the things others have done and now I'm not able to turn the phone on at all. Please help!!

Either your LCD is bad, not connected correctly (connector 1 to Logic Board) or your Logic Board connector or LCD controller is bad. Carefully open iPhone (I would do it OFF, but since it is 3g, might be OK, not sure), carefully reseat Flex Cable #1 (LCD flex). See if this fixes it. If not you may need to try another LCD. If it is damaged Logic Board, ouch. But even Logic Board can be repaired. Good luck. Brad

Why did you replace both the LCD and digitizer? Does iTunes recognize the iPhone? Does the mute/vibrate switch make the iPhone vibrate now? Try a hard reset, at same time hold down both Top/Power button and Home button for about 15-20 seconds if it works iPhone will come on.

Front screen was cracked and there were a few pixels that were out so did both at same time. I haven't tried hookin up to iTunes yet but the vibrate switch isn't working now. I've also tried a reset even tried using the old LCD in the phone again and has same problem. I'm running out of things to try just looking for a fresh mind!

Well it is important to see if iTunes will recognize the iPhone. Did you remove the frame from the LCDs or did the new LCD already have a frame attached to it?

Ok after it set for awhile the vibrate function started working again I also checked it with iTunes and it does recognize the phone. The LCD I received already had a frame attached to it.

Ok I've checked the connections again and they are fine but now I'm not even getting a back light. I guess it's the logic board which really stinks!
