I did an update, now locked out of computer?

I did update, now will not accept my password?

I have had the same password for years.

Caps are not on, I’m not misspelling.

Also can’t go online, as our internet was changed yesterday, so can’t update it.

When I click on internet button, the pictures don’t come up to change the internet.
