iPhone X and 7 get warm-ish

This happens on my 7 and X seperate apple ID's as one is for business

When I put my iPhone against my skin specifically he top right corner it feels warm. I borrowed a thermometer from a friend and t was reading 88-91 when using reddit, safari, and outlook for about 20-30 minutes.

I’ve read some people say it’s normal and others not so I was hoping some people could let me know or actually check the temp of there phone after 30 minutes of moderate use? Could it be hand heat even with a case on?

Room temp varies from 70-75

I've never measured the temperature directly but warm to the touch is fine and normal, especially under moderate to heavy use. If the housing gets uncomfortably hot, then there is something wrong.

Would it be possible for you to measure and see? Just to put my mind at ease its never super hot just warm roughly 88-90 after 30 minutes of safari, facebook, and reddit.

I’ll see if I can get around to measuring the temperature but keep in mind that the logic board already has 4 temperature sensors spread out across the board. They are generally set at somewhere between 60 - 80C so if your board was excessively hot, you would see a warning message on your screen.
