1 After repair will not power up
After replacing the power jack with one described on this site, our L355D will charge the battery but will not power up. I checked and rechecked all the plug ins and transfer ribbons to be sure they were all in place and secure but no change. I have checked to make sure I haven't grounded out on the mother board but see no scorch marks or smell anything. I'm befuddeled
Please tell what the lights are doing. Do you have a multimeter? If so does it have a setting for testing diodes? Does your soldering iron have a conical tip?
