Sometimes touch screen doesn't repsone to touch

I replaced the screen a couple months ago. The screen works fine but every now and then the touch doesn't respond to touch and I have to reboot the phone for it to start working. It happens every couple days.

It's a defective screen, and if the ribbon cable for the screen is not held in place with some sticky / scotch tape this issue can occur.

I had exactly the same issue - tried 3 different screens but all had same issue. Went back to original smashed Apple screen and it’s working fine again.
