Has anyone got this lifeline phone from Qlink?

Amen. This one of the worst phones I've ever seen. I was given the n9521 when I first joined qlink. it was a nice phone large screen. but the new 818 by ZTE is a 3-g device and a tiny screen qlink sucks.

Just received my q link phone. Came with a ton of data already used. Haven't used and I'm at my limit. Customer service was no help wanted me to purchase more data. I'm not doing that without even using yet. It's a free phone but can't use because not enough data. Waste of time very angry, and customer service were the worst.

Hello can you help me . Where can I see what my phone looks like on qlink? It says its a ZTE Quest 5

Paid for phone on February 1st and phone never arrived. When I asked them to contact the shipper they said they have no contact for them!!!!!!!! You just pay somebody who nobody knows or can contact and there is no way to check on status! What kind of spam is this????? Does anybody know where these phones are coming from? Qlink does not know! LOL! this is a sad tragicomedy!

I got the nuu X6 Plus it's a piece of junk can't seem to get to speak to an American person about this is our government paying foreign people for this junk I paid $110 for this phone I can't get another one and I can't get to speak to a American person and they want you to verify multiple times who you are but they can't verify who they are is this why I've been getting scammed so much this year if I had to depend on this to be my lifeline I would be dead by now they want all of your information then they scam you and you can't get nothing back in return

My ZTE phone is through the free government cell phone plan. If your on the plan remember, all they give you is 1gig every month. I don't use bluetooth. If you're not on the government plan, while I've had no problems I wouldn't purchase a ZTE phone. There are far, far better phones out there.

Yes!!! Mine will not stay connected to Wi-Fi and it's driving me nuts!!! I have tried multiple possible fixes that I found online, other than doing a factory reset but none of them have worked!!!! I'm thinking it may be something to do with one of their factory apps now that I see I'm not the only person having this issue, I'm guessing maybe a recent update or something... Well I just sent qlink an email a few hours ago regarding this issue hopefully they get back to me if they do I'll let you know... If you happen to come across a fix for this issue before I find something just let me know.

Same phone same stupid a$$ wifi problem since day one. It's a bug in Android 7.1.1 and this zte phone. There is a fix with 7.1.2 but qlink won't update the phone because then it would allow people to use wifi unlimited and not have to constantly buy more data from them. I'm pretty sure its a 'racket' they are running. Had the phone for 8months now and have never been able to stay on wifi for more than 15 secs. So sick of it. Called to have them replace the phone and they referred me to the zte company for a replacement and guess what......zte says qlink doesn't carry that phone so I can't get a new one, but obviously qlink is the one that sent me the %#*@ phone!!!!! Like I said it's a racket company siphoning from people.

Also this is not the only issue. It also turns my data saver off when ever it feels like it, therefore causing the phone to download and update all kinds of bs wasting my little data that I have. It will also turn off my battery saver at random times. I have the utmost minimal apps on the phone and it runs worse than an old 386dx PC. Cell service also randomly works, will say I have no internet but at the top of screen and in settings it says LTE 5bars. Fess up qlink

My issue is $ missing off my debit card, payable to Q-link&started when I locked myself out of my phone & needed a code to unlock it.

Qlink said they dont give out codes anymore & I needed to buy a new phone.

I gave my debit card info to get a new phone@$25.

Last Oct,$45 was taken,$5 in Dec&$8.50 today.

Online chat"david" only sees $25 pmnt for new phone. They asked for dates $ was taken. Told me to call &talk to a rep.

I know I wont reach a "real" person when I call.

On lifeline program. I never use all my mins, texts or data. I did not order"bundle" pk.I do not use internationally. No reason $ should leave my account to go to Q-link. I have auto pmnts set up for other bills & due to $ disappearing from my acct by Q-link, I don't always have enough to cover my other bills. It's been about every 2 mths-Oct, Dec & Feb.

I have no answers, but I hope someday I will.

Having an SD card does help but if you are installing a bunch of apps that are non-transferable to that SD card, it would be as if you didn't have an SD card to begin with. If that's the case, once you use up your phone's internal memory, there's nothing you can do.

I usually clear my cache and take off any apps I don't use. I also force stop apps which are running in the background. Recently I received an email stating I will be getting a new phone for free because they were going to the 5G network. The email also said I would be getting an email stating when it will be shipped. That's been a month ago and no email. I kind of doubt this is going to happen.

Do they turn off your phone whenever they ship out your new one? They shipped my new one yesterday and my existing phone stopped working. Is that why? Anyone know?

It seems they turn off your old phone a couple of days before the new phone arrives.

Im with you Jenny... its b.s to pay for upgrade bc this one is useless, calling ppl even when you arent even touching it.... called my bf at work, so he stopped working to call me back, and I was just laying there not even touching the phone which was on the desk, WTF!! and I got to wonder sometimes when I get calls from random ppl IDK who are telling me they never called me?! WTH is that?! It seems to me, that qlink is a gov't spy phone, and that is the reason it comes with the best minutes, so everyone will want one, and so.... getting your own phone to use with qlink... bet there is a clause in there about how you are agreeing to allow qlink to "spy"..... worry abt making a phone call and hope that while you are talking to your doctor it doesn't call some random number in your phone while you are.... yea that was &&^&^$^ wierder than the voicemail of my voicemail?! BS junk just to make sure you dont miss important interviews and appt's. DISGUST not thanx

I'm w u both..this company is ridiculous I bought a replacement phone for $25 and they sent me a piece of s*** phone many months later and I got to use it for a month and then I come up deceased on their database and they pull the service these people are complete half-wits totally incompetent business and if my refund isn't in my hand this week I'm calling the better business bureau and reporting them and their bad business

the reprogram service network it can be done i do all phone for free

need better network like reprogramming the service chip in side the phone to unlock

i have it and i need a battery do you have one i reprogramed the phone 5g and unlocked i do this all the time 400,00 a day but love it

I have a ZTE Z3001S the phone works good as long as you know what your doing! You need a 16GB SD chip plug in for more ram. Some apps will not work unless you have one. The Google play, after factory reset as fast as you can, goto google play & setting turn off app updates. That’s a must!!!

Hate to hear alot of people are having problems with the ZTE N818s.I just got mine from QLink.So far mine is working ok,I'm in southern Ohio.I had switched from Assurance, because that phone was terrible, wouldn't let me receive or make calls, would freeze,cut me off if I did make or receive a call .Terrible experience in an emergency situation.Anywho hoping everyone finds a decent phone,hard being without for sure.

i HAVE THE 818 & YEP THEIR qlixar crAP; IS SIMPLY A FLOOD OF UNNECESSARY SBHIT YOU DONT HAVE TO INSTALL & THEIR UPDATES ARE SIMPLY THEM THROWING MORE CRAP INTO YOUR PHONE SIMPLY TO BE DICKS ALL THEIR UPDATES EVER HAVE IS MORE ADVERTS THAT DEVOUR ALL OF YOUR DEVICES MEMORY I SUGGEST YOU REFORMAT THAT BACK TO THE FACTORY STATE & RESTORE FROM A BACKUP AFTER BEFORE THAT IF YOU HAVE BACKED UP YOUR DEVICE WITH ALL THEIR ADVERT CRAP YOU MAY WANT TO DELETE & DISABLE ALL THAT CRAP THEN MAKE A NEW BACKUP WITH ALL THAT GONE I HAVE ALSO FOUND THEIR LAUNCHER IS LINKED TO THEIR OVERLOADING YOUR DEVICE WITH ADDS I USE CM LAUNCHER FOR MY N818S ITS A GOOD LAUNCHER THAT DOES 3D IM NOT SAYING THE PHONE WILL DO 3D JUST THE LAUNCHER I MENTIONED IS 3D CAPABLE ANYWAY I HOPE THAT HELPS ONCE I BLOCKED THEIR LAUNCHER AFTER GETTING THE CM LAUNCHER THE 2019 VERSION WHICH ALSO HAS A PET ON THE FAR LEFT OF THE DEVICE & IT ALSO CONTAINS CORTANA SO ITS A REALLY AWESOME FREE LAUNCHER ENJOY

What helps is if you uninstall google apps like, Drive, google photos, google play music, google newsstand, etc. I think you'll be able to access the information from some of those apps on your Chrome browser. That way you aren't having each app occupying your phone's internal memory.

it the network that not work 5g upgrade on that phone would be mor room and reprogram the net work to 5g unlock i have done lots of phone to this problem

I've been with them nearly a year. This is absolutely premium service. I haven't had any issues with Q-Link Wireless whatsoever. I highly recommend this company for all of your Lifeline needs. It's hard to beat, 1,000 minutes and 1MB of data completely FREE. I love it!!!

I have been having issues getting the WiFi to stay connected... It's driving me crazy! I'm about to toss this piece of crap where it belongs, in the garbage. Most of my calls won't go through and when I receive a call it takes so long to connect the person calling usually hangs up! Can't say I blame them. Sending a message is a whole other story, sometimes it will say sent but it's days later before the other party receives my message or it doesn't go through at all. Instead of this junky phone why can't they send something a little better? I would gladly pay the difference for something that will work! God forbid I have a accident or something, I would be dead or missing for days before anyone would receive a call or text from that crappy phone. Anything would be better than this piece of crap!

U can pay an extra$10 a total of$35and get an inch and a half longer phone.But can someone tell me exactly what person it is I need to talk with to get a replacement phone.i purchased my explosively free phone n February and only a couple of weeks after receiving then it froze up.i understand things like this can happen.But Qlink gives me the number to - ZTE the ones that make the phones for them stating"sounds like u need a repair job."Not only to discover they also inform me that "there's a catch to it" O really so I replied? "You've got to on à lap top computer n order to fill out all the information needed to hàve a repair job done on your extended inch and half $35 free phone.!Listen...somethings not adding up people Because if I had a laptop computer n my possession.i doubt very seriously I would b asking for a free phone! Do they cut your phone off while your new phone is shipping? The same day I got the notice that my new phone is "on the way" my original existing phone stopped working. Outgoing calls go to an external network. Data displays "error 67" and text message won't send. I've tried all the trouble shooting steps listed in the Help section. Emails are auto-answered, phone calls keep disconnecting so that I can never speak to a human being. It makes sense that they turned it off because they activated my new phone but heck I don't know, I'm missing important calls and I have nobody to ask. Anyone know?

I've been with them for over a year and while I have a ZTE, it's a different model. I have never had any kind of problem with them or my phone.

Qlink support dont do nothing no more it was bot out by verizon but if you got qlink phone i can reprogram the service chip to 5g

wifi bord is not keeping up with the 5g net but need 5g bord in it i do this all the time on youtube and most of time its to easy but what going on is the bord 4g wifi is not keeping up it can work 5g i did it every day if wont me to i can help
