My iPhone says "Searching" all the time.

Before my phone was experiencing any cellular issues, it was working perfectly fine. Then one day I brought an new phone then held on to the one i already had. one day the phone i brought broke and this "broken" phone was my back up. I turn it on and for like an hour I had service until it said "Searching." I called apple and even walked in they told me that nothing is wrong with the phone, they ran all the tests on it and cannot find any issues. They suggested it was my sim, so they gave me a new one to take to tmobile to activate. I go to tmobile and activate the card then put it in and stil nothing.. Ive tried disassembling my iphone to the part where you get to the "L board." I replaced the antenna or wifi antenna and still no service. After that, I replaced the whole L board with another iphone six and still no service, but the other iphone has service with the part I am supposedly having issues with. I even risked my phone life by dropping it and still nothing, haha. Tried taking out the sim with the power off and still you can guess.. HELP?????

After you have eliminated antennae or network locks as the possible culprit, searching issues on the iPhone 6 are usually related to the baseband IC. The baseband IC is very sensitive, just like the Touch IC's on the 6 Plus; it also suffers from poor quality traces and pads.

Go to your phone’s dialing keypad and dial *#06#. You should see the IMEI displayed.

If the IMEI is not displayed, the Baseband IC has to be reballed and two small copper traces (U1/V1) have to be rebuilt and solidified. This is commonly referred to as the “long jumper” solution. You can check out this answer (Service is "Searching" indefinitely) (by @teetopp) as it summarizes the issue really well.

Turn the power off by holding down the power button on top of the iPhone AND the button on the face at the same time. It takes a few seconds.

After the power is off, click the power button once. The iPhone will restart, showing the Apple logo, and completely reload the system file. U

That procedure usually fixes hangs and button problems.

That phone is not registered by its serial number with the service provider, or is it? Check with your provider and make sure they have the iPhone serial number correct.
