I can hear the caller, but the caller can't hear me?

How far are you from the base unit? Is there anything between you and the base unit which could be blocking the signal? Is the battery run down?
Does this happen with all callers, or just one particular caller? If only one particular caller, then it is likely a problem on their end, not yours.
