Why won't my phone turn on?

The port on my phone hasn't worked since my trip to the coast last summer, so I use a battery charger and switch batteries out every time one dies. I switched my battery at 40% before I went to sleep, but it wouldn't turn back on, nothing would come up at all. I switched the battery back and it wouldn't turn back on, I even tried my brothers battery and it still wouldn't turn back on. I haven't dropped it and it hasn't gotten wet, it showed no signs of glitching or slowness before hand. I tried to go in recovery mode as most sights recommend, however there's no response at all, I can't get any vibration, light, or screen action.

Please help!
