This component is M2800, aka Trinity. This "chip" is basically a substrate for holding a few coils inside that tend to blow easily. It includes two backlight coils, one for the Taptic Engine (ARC), one for the Speaker AMP and one for the TIGRIS Buck converter which is used to generate VDD_MAIN from PP5V0_USB (which is provided by whatever power source is connected to the Lightning Port).
Don't trust the Chinese vendor descriptions who claim it is a Touch IC...the Touch IC's are on the screen assembly and nowhere to be found on the logic board.

yes i am agree with this. its a combination of few coils only. no connection with touch.
I had no touch screen and replaced this IC which restored touch. seems like the chinese vendors are correct again. Something very strange about this chip because i also looked on schematics and shows nothing to do with touch.

So if I cracked this it would explain my touch screen not working.lol. how would I go about fixing or getting it fixed...
it would indeed, you would need to find someone local or mail in that works with microsoldering to replace the ic
This is M2800, also know as Trinity Blue. It contains coils for the backlight (primarily) and the Taptic, Speaker and Tigris IC's. It has nothing to do with Touch.

Don't trust the descriptions of Chinese eBay sellers, look at the schematic yourself and see what it does.
