1 Forgot to remove battery connector when replacing ram
Hi, I'm stupid...
Despite using iFixit's instructions to upgrade my 17" to 8gb ram yesterday, I didn't remove the battery conncetor. I saw the sticker and just figured I'd leave the battery untouched without realizing the connector was off to the side.
I replaced the ram while wearing a static wristband, reassembled the computer and ran an extended hardware diagnostic which came back 100% okay. I should be fine then, right?
