The brew-switch on my K10-Mini does not always change to flashing red (stays flashing blue) when I push it. Pushing multiple times normally solves the problem, but it is getting worse. The machine is two years old and brews one cup per day on average.

Thanks. Could you please explain how scale in the boiler could prevent the heater from switching on.
