Why can't I connect to Wi-Fi?

I have trouble connecting my laptop to my home Wi-Fi. The connection is good on all my other devices, so the problem is not with the modem. I have tried all the basic stuff (rebooting my system, reseting my network card and even reinstalling my network driver) but the problem is still there. When I try to connect there are no option to type a password only "Connect automatically" and this is also the case for new networks that I have never used before.
