notification panel doesnt make a list not anymore

i recently got rid of a bunch of uneeded crap that comes factory on the s5 to free up some space and also put it in safe mode and then took it out of safe mode. before i did all of this, my notification panel/log would make a list of all the notifications i got, but now, lets say i get a notification from twitter, it pops up, then another twitter notification pops up and it cancels out the old notification and doesnnot create a list of notification so i can see each one of them. i have tried going to setting and trying to change the notification app stuff but nothing is working. need help. please answer
