Unresponsive screen with stripes... After replacing battery

I gave my first try to using the iFixit 5S Battery replacement kit today. When it came back on, the screen worked but was unresponsive to touch and had white vertical stripes. I took the phone apart again and reseated everything and powered it on to see the same striped screen that was unresponsive to touch.

I'm assuming that I wrecked something while trying to install the battery (I did follow the full version of the instructions on the website).

Just wondering if there is some thing else I can check to attempt to recover the phone?
