printer problem, printer will not reconize the machine

have epson artesian 730printer. the problem is new, used to work fine. now when try to print from any app the printer says it cannot print from this machine. other computers hav e no problem. i would like to run a diagnostic on the print part of the operating system. have lost the asus routine package that came with the laptop.
