What part is this?

Since I need to change my speakers (no sound when turning on the laptop and low volume) today when changing the fan I found this piece but i don't know what is (like a bottom on the left of the fan)

Hi @danj hope I'm not pointing just at the left speaker.

Anyway this image show better the part which in some way is not wrapped.

OK guys Just had a bad day.... I was pointing out at the subwoofer that in fact is usurated due the hot.

Thanks anyway I just need to find a solution to purchase in Europe quickly the parts!

Can you give us a better image and point to the part you have a question on.

Just below the speaker (black) is the optical drive (silver with clear plastic cover) is that what you are wondering about?

Here is the IFIXIT guide to replace the Right/Sub Woofer speaker MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2010 Subwoofer & Right Speaker Replacement and here's the US IFIXIT part: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody (A1278 Mid 2009-Mid 2010) Subwoofer and Right Speaker IFIXIT also has a European site: IFIXIT Europe I don't see the part listed but they still might have it. Post a message to double check. Otherwise the Bookyard in the UK has the part Unibody MacBook Pro 13" Speaker & Subwoofer - Right (used) Apple P/N 922-9057

@ulees thanks for the vid, I'm in Europe and I don't like new macbook so I'm waiting for the 2018 line, today i got an ssd card, 8GB ram, but I must fix audio.

Sadly in Europe ifixit doesn't have left and right speakers, so I must order in USA.

I'm from Europe to I hope the speaker isn't expensive so you don't have to pay the customs.
