Stuck on Galileo pro screen

Can't reset my Galileo pro. I've done the hard reset. But when it gets to the Galileo pro screen it goes no where. Help please.. my sister got this for me to use at college ... What can I do.. plz help.. thanks

I'm having a problem like this one I was make a speedpaint on Ibis paint X and my screen froze now it won't reset and the buttons aren't working. What would I do to fix this problem ?

Hi @feetstankin ,

There is a 12 month manufacturer's warranty (scroll to p.EN-32) on the tablet.

Check that the tablet is still within the warranty period by finding the date on the sales receipt you got when the tablet was purchased

Since you have tried a hard reset and that failed to resolve the problem, I suggest that you consult the manufacturer's warranty statement (usually found in the User Guide or use the link above) as to what you have to do to make a claim for a manufacturer's warranty repair, replacement or refund.

If it is no longer under warranty and you have tried a hard reset and it didn’t do anything then all you can do is open the tablet and check for any obvious problems such as a loose connections or any obvious component damage e.g. heat stressed

After that the schematics would be needed to find out what is happening

Warranties are there for a reason. Why give the manufacturer a free ride by not using them if you can?

You shouldn't have to fix a problem if the device is it is still within the warranty period, and you have tried all that a user can do without opening the device to look further.

The OP obviously accepted my answer given that it is the Chosen Solution as they are the only ones (besides perhaps this website's admin) who can do this. I certainly can't do it for my own answer.

Also they didn't respond that it was no longer covered by the warranty and what should they try next.

Lovely, if there's a warranty. What about when it's out of warranty? Am I out of luck? It was working great the last time I used it, now nothing.
