Hey Everyone!! I was wondering if anyone knows how to replace the lithium ion battery in a bose Soundlink color 2 after the battery dies, I haven't seen any and new information on newer speakers would be great if you guys can help me! Thank you very much :)

You gotta pull the rubber case off (by separating it at the bottom of the device). Then you have access to the security screws. Not sure what battery it takes though. I'm messing around with this myself and will update with info I find.

Yes there are but you have to take the rubber jacket all the way off to see all of them. They’re on the back off the speakers case, not the bottom. There’s seven (7) Torx #9 security screws, which is way better than the pentalobe security screws in the Color 1, believe me. I’ll let everyone know about the battery soon but I’m pretty sure it’s just an 18650.
