When you take the Camera out of the IPod Touch it has this connection to the phone ....

I'm not sure i fully understand the question.
This is the camera flex in question. You can follow this guide to replace it.
The actual connector on the flex (or it's mate on the logic board), is called an FPC connector. If I didn't properly answer your question, let me know.
