keyboard will not work does respond

How to get back my keyboard, any key pressed, brings up "do you want to change to tablet mode", or "do u want to leave tablet mode". Any answer gets same result, nothing, no keyboard. I have to use onboard keyboard.

I want to be able to use the keyboard that came with the tablet.

Also, I am unable to change the screen. It is white on black. I have tried changing it to default, but only the lock screen has color. I have tried to restore, it failed.

Do I have to restore factory settings?

Please help.
