Front struts are not aligning to control arm.

I just replaced my front struts and mounts I'm getting ready to mount it but found that the CV axle isn't pushing up to allow the top bolt to line up for the strut mounts or the struts themselves I should say if anyone can give me advice on how to release tension or pressure on that CV axle to push it in to allow it to line up properly I would greatly it. Thanks!
