Low space on hard drive / no start up

Labtop has two hard drives. For some reason all of the data was put on the smaller of the hard drives. I was in the process of trying to move picture files to the empty hard drive.

The smaller of the two was carrying the load of every thing. The bigger was completely empty strangely. (Girlfriends labtop)

Now when i turn labtop on. It does literally nothing. It shows the samsung load up screen and nothing else. Than shuts off.

Any help?
