Hi,
I changed a screen on a white iPhone 7 plus and now the touch id isn't working anymore. The home button works fine. When I want to add fingerprint it"s just showing the begin screen but nothing more happens. What could be the problem? Can it be a bad connector from the screen?
I've changed the screen and everything was back working again. So there was something wrong with the screen/connectors .

Check out this Thread. Touch ID Not Working After Screen Replacement
Unfortunately, Apple has a monopoly on this technology and usually has to do with the Home Button. I have done 3 repairs on 7’s and 2 failed to recognize the home button.
I have not seen it fixed with an iOS update or complete restart.
