Touch Screen is not working

I have a Touch Dynamics Quest 7 Tablet, that the touch screen will not work on. I can find no information about a teardown or if this is a common problem with these. I have tried attaching a wireless keyboard, and touchpad through the usb port, but it will not recognize them. Does anyone know how to fix this problem, or at least know how to take it apart, to see if its a hardware or software issue?
