Do I need to return this new phone screen?

I just bought and replaced my whole phone screen (lcd and digitizer) for my Samsung galaxy s5 but now suddenly my phone is doing this colorful static looking screen. Sometimes it will also make it look like the picture is repeating itself halfway down or will endlessly loop. Is this a faulty screen that I have and need to return it or is there possibly something else wrong? It doesn't always do it, and I'm typing this message from the phone itself right now, but when it does it causes the phone to sometimes have to restart itself.

Block Image

This is one example I was able to catch. When I get a picture of the other times I will post them as well. If I try to take a screenshot it doesn't work and the phone takes a screenshot instead of what it would nor ally be and not glitched like that. If I poke around, buttons are still responding where they she be despite the picture being distorted.

You were correct about the lcd. I returned it, got a new one, and have no problems now.

Maybe you should put a photo of your screen. The things usually are two. 1-your lcd may have a factory problem(and u should consider returning the product) and 2-after you replaced your screen maybe you have somewhere a small dispersion of electricity that makes contact with your lcd. That makes normally horizontal or vertical white lines. Reading your description I strongly belive your lcd has factory problem and you should return it. However if you put a picture of your display I'd give my opinion again.
