Why won't the arm that raises and lowers the deck raise or lower?
No spring action in arm. Was cutting grass, stopped, went to raise arm and nothing. Stuck down and won't cut grass.

This could be a result of a connection somewhere that broke loose like the lift links not being connected. If you could give me a model number of the mower I could maybe find a diagram to help you find those lift link and connections.

My Deere mower
# Z997R 72" deck will not raise or lower. The height adjustment dial won't turn at all. Also, the switch on the handle that raises and lowers deck isn't working as well. Where do I start troubleshooting these two issues?
