Why are my headphones sounding weird?

So, I have an Acer Aspire ES15, and my headphones sound weird whenever I plug them in. Either the sound sounds echoey, it sounds much quieter than it should, it can't play music like it used to, it only plays on one earbud, or all of them at once. It doesn't have this effect when I plug the same pair of earbuds into a different device. How do I fix this?

-Also, with time, sound through my earbuds come back to normal.
