PS4 slim capacity is less
My PS4 slim is the 500 gb version but when i go to system settings/storage the capacity shown is only 353.4gb!Whats going on?

Possibly try a factory reset. When you got it did it come with any games or other things preinstalled. if it did, thats whats taking up space and if you really need the space, just uninstall them.

No games were preinstalled.I just contacted an sony representative and he claims that preinstalled software & updates make the system read it that way,but for christ sake 147gb is WAY much space just for software & updates...it doesn't seem normal to me
ok well it can take up a lot of space.
