Where can I find a new battery?

My Sansa Clip Plus doesn't hold a charge anymore. I'd like to replace the battery but I can't find any battery on internet.

Does anyone know where I can find a new battery for this MP3 player (which is not available anymore, except at 100$ on Ebay (WTF!!!)) ?

Thanks a lot for your help

Hi @oldbear ,

Here is a link to the ifixit guide on Repairing Loose Headphone Jack in your player. It is handy as it shows how to open the player so that the battery can be accessed.

Here is a link to a supplier of the battery. ($US23 incl. shipping)

Hopefully this is of some help.

Hi @wai_patrick ,

You may have to search places such as here to see if there is a compatible replacement.

Look for conn jack stereo 3.5mm smd in the list and then click on the Adobe icon to the left of the item to view the datasheet to see if it is compatible with your pcb connection points.

Hi @wai_patrick ,

Just search for 323036P

Hi everyone! :)

I've had the same quest(ion) for my Sansa Clip+ / And I now replaced it successfully with this one:

https://de.aliexpress.com/item/328637674...

I found that one by searching by battery type number "323036P" (since that's what's written on the original battery). It worked flawlessly! :D

BUT:
Cut the battery wires short. Otherwise, the chassis may not manage to click back in place. I've cut mine about half (a little bit longer than the ones from the original).

The wire coloring means:

  • RED = (+)
  • BLACK = GND
  • WHATEVER = middle (The original cable was blue, mine was white).

I guess this could be interesting. I had to look it up first.

Thanks so much for helping me enjoying my beloved Clip+ as long as I like!
