Why is it not playing any sound?

I have had this speaker for quite a while and seems to be in a perfect state. I was using it yesterday evening, but then at night when I turned it on it didn't make any sound. By this I mean not even the sound it makes when it is turned on. It has been over a day I have tried resetting and charging but does not seem to be it. Please help!
