I've brought an iphone 5c thinking it was working.
However it doesn't power on, If I heat it up during a restore it allows me to restore it. And when I heat the back the battery symbol comes up. I thought it was the battery, so I replaced it- however it's still happening.

Did you try a new charging jack to make sure it is charging?

I haven't tried it yet, I don't know if I should or if it'd be a waste of £3-4. I can plug it into itunes and it recognizes it. Not too sure what's wrong with it. I presumed it's a chip.
@speedslapper before you try that, see if any of the tiny components are missing from near the battery connector on the motherboard.
