Can't choose TV type
The TV was unplugged. When it was restarted, it went to initialize. It stays stuck on the 'choose TV type' and won't do anything.

Hi,
What is the model number of the TV?
Try the following and see if it resolves the problem
Switch off the Tv and unplug it from the power outlet, (not just turning off the power outlet)
Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button for 30 seconds and then release it.
Plug in the power cord again and switch on the power outlet and then turn on the TV.
If this doesn't work, how long have you had the TV?
If less than 12 months, verify the purchase date on the sales receipt and if still within the warranty period, consult the warranty statement in the User Guide that came with the TV, as to what to do to make a claim for a warranty repair or replacement.
If you cannot find the User Guide search online for Panasonic (your model TV) warranty

The main board is bad. If you can, search shop jimmy TV parts. If you cannot find this board, you can purchase an eeprom. You will have to find a electronic tech to replace the eeprom, which is very delicate to remove. I would suggest purchasing the main board. If not available, you may have buy another TV.
