Error Screen Appears When I turn it on

So my nintendo 3ds Xl is acting odd what happens is i turn it on and after 22 seconds (i counted) the screen turns black and on the bottom touch screen a message saying "An error has occurred. Hold down the POWER Button to turn off the power, then turn it on and try again. For help. visit support.nintendo.com." and then i turn off the system then turn it back on like it said but then the same thing happens again and i dont know what to do! please help
