replacing the screen without the digitizer

I removed the screen and unplugged the digitizer. Then I found I had the wrong replacement. In hast I threw out the cracked screen with digitizer, before I found out how expensive a new one was. I have a new screen that I want to use without the digitizer. The Tab S just has two lights lit up, but screen doesn't go on. How do I Start it?
