Right USB Port doesn't work w/ Lightning Cable?

Hi folks,

I have another problem with my 15 inch MacBook Pro of 2015...

After replacing the screen twice, replacing the logicboard once due to technical problems and replacing the lower case including battery and keyboard due to a water damage, I can't use the right USB Port with original Apple Lightning Cables anymore.

Several external USB 3 HDDs working most of the time.

I reseted the PRAM and I did a Hardwaretest - without any problem signed.

Do you have any idea?

Check under system whether USB port is still available, recognized and used. Post results. Having used any other item that draws power from the USB port, add that item and see whether there is still current flow ( for example an iPhone, an iPod, a rechargeable battery.) post results.

compare current flow when appliance is attached. change cable or plug. if both unsuccessful, check usb port with multimeter: 1. 5V+, 2. D-, 3. D+, 4. 5V-, one of them is faulty. — wolfgangschaefer
